Afford has launched Club Teen to give 11 to 16 year old’s living in and around Caboolture in Queensland the chance to enjoy fun, social and exciting new life experiences.
For their latest adventure, Afford Lifestyle Assistant, Dylan, supported the group of excited teens to head north to visit the Queensland Air Museum in Caloundra.
Participants enjoyed wandering through the aircraft displays and learning about Australia’s aviation history.
The museum holds close to 100 aircraft of historical significance. The aircraft have been rebuilt, restored and maintained to share with the public.
The Club Afford Teen group meandered through the displays and learned about the important roles these magnificent aircraft played during significant events in history.
The highlight of the day for the group was getting up close to the engines and cockpit of the F111 fighter jet. There were also many other planes on display that held rich histories and value.
Club Afford Teen is held every second Saturday and runs from Afford’s Caboolture Hub. The program encourages young Affordians to get together with other like-minded teens, to share their interests, make friends and develop their skills for life.
