Mateship is something that develops over time and lasts a lifetime. For two friends from Windsor Day Program, Matthew and Peter, their camaraderie has grown. They feel comfortable sharing their interests, stories, joys and challenges and enjoy creating memories to cherish together.

Client inspired activities

The duo recently asked for Team Leaders at Windsor Day Program to help them arrange a ‘Boy’s Day Out’ where they could have fun and enjoy some boisterous activities and rides.

With their support, staff Matthew and Peter had a marvellous day out at Rouse Hill Town Centre’s carnival in Market Square.

There were rides galore such as a bungee trampoline, giants slide and more, but the dodgem cars were the favourite for Matthew and Peter. There were heaps of activities and games to take part in and great fair food for a special treat.

Strengthening Friendships

Matthew and Peter shared many laughs together throughout the day and enjoyed the time out away from everyday life.

Getting out in the community and taking part in new activities present many opportunities to learn and grow. Afford ensures connections with family and friends are strengthened and nurtured; providing a whole-of-life approach to disability services.
