Our Post:

Afford outings are always something different and exciting. They are person-centred and tailored to the interests of our clients and residents and always deliver a memorable experience.

Over the weekend, our Narellan Group Home residents visited K-Ranch Arena where they were treated to some extraordinary horsemanship and wrangling skills at the Pro Rodeo.

Client Inspired Outings

Like many of the people who visited the rodeo this January, our residents have been looking forward to this event for some time. It was one event that all residents were interested in attending. The country flavour and the chance to see Australian cowboys in action really excited all residents.

Life Skills Development

So Lifestyle Assistants quickly arranged the outing, helped residents budget for the event and soon everyone was in their vans and travelling to Mount Hunter in NSW to K-Ranch Arena to witness a truly spectacular show.

Our six Narellan residents watched in awe as some very skilful Australian cowboys took to the arena on horseback, with lassoes in hand, to catch some very rowdy steer.

Some of the cowboys were even brave enough to take on the bigger bulls and test how long they could ride them on before falling off!
