Our Post:

To celebrate Youth Day on 10th April, our teams from Oran Park, Lurnea, Campbelltown and Condell Park Day Programs hosted a celebration at Oran Park Library.

Camden City Council Funding Supports New Life Experiences

Thanks to grant funding from Camden City Council, our team staged a magnificent event which celebrated the significant contribution of youth to the wider community.

Held in one of the function rooms at Oran Park Library, the event invited clients from each of the Day Programs to enjoy musical activities facilitated by Rhythm Village.

Activities to Encourage Movement and Fun

Our staff also organised a disco for attendees to move and groove and sporting activities to encourage health, fitness and movement. Attendees then tucked in to a delicious pizza lunch. The room was decorated with an array of colour and visual displays.

Grants Provide Valuable Funds

All these marvellous activities and celebrations were all made possible thanks to grant funding from Camden City Council. These funds ensure that our staff can provide new life experiences and memorable activities for our clients. It is social events such as these, that support our clients to expand their friendship circles, learn to manage different social occasions and, most importantly, have fun!

“The staff and clients really got involved and had a great time.” – Antoinette Imbruglia, Team Leader, Oran Park Day Program.
