How to pay for SIL
Funding and eligibility
You can pay for supported independent living with your NDIS plan, or with your own money. We have lots of experience with SIL and NDIS. Talk to us or your NDIS planner or Local Area Coordinator can help you work out if it is right for you. Things you’ll discuss:

Board and lodging
An NDIS SIL support package does not include rent and boarding costs. You can pay for these costs with your Disability Support Pension, Commonwealth Rent Assistance or other sources of income you may have.
