Bankstown:
Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is a government-funded program that supports people with disability, injury or illness to get ready for, find and stay in work. It replaced the Disability Employment Services (DES) program in 2025.
You can take part if you have a disability, injury or health condition that affects your ability to work. You’ll need to be of working age, able to take part in work and either an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible visa holder.
IEA offers tailored services like resume writing, interview practice, job searching and workplace modifications where needed. Once you’re working, the guidance and training will continue to make sure you feel confident in your new role.
It’s easy to register with us. You can do it online, over the phone, or by visiting one of our Gold Coast offices. A member of our team will check your eligibility and organise a meeting with your consultant to create a plan that suits you.
Yes. IEA continues after you start work. Your consultant checks in to make sure your job feels right, that your workplace is supportive and that you’re happy and comfortable in your role.
Yes. IEA replaced DES in 2025 with even more focus on connection, inclusion and support for people with disability.
