What is employment support?

Work is one of life’s great adventures and we are here to help you dive in!

Our employment services are designed for people with disability, injury or a health condition who want to start or grow their career.

We will work with you to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We do this with dedicated services, supported job options and on the job training that gets you learning as you go. We also team up with employers to make sure every workplace is set up for you to thrive in.

FAQs about our employment programs

IEA is our new employment service. It helps people with disability, injury or health conditions get ready for, find and keep meaningful work. IEA replaced the Disability Employment Services (DES) program on 5 November 2025.

YEC is for people aged 25 or under, including school leavers. It helps you get ready for the world of work with training, skill-building and job experience.

Yes. Some programs are available to people with other funding or on a self-funded basis. We can help you work out how to pay.
