About the housemates

If you like animals, being social and home movies, then this woman-only home could be perfect for you! You will share this home with three women aged in their 40s and 60s who all love animals. Two of the housemates love to chat and enjoy getting out and about. The third enjoys quieter things like going for drives and watching Bondi Vet on TV. They enjoy going out shopping, eating at cafes and restaurants and visiting pet stores.

How to pay for SIL

Funding and eligibility

You can pay for supported independent living with your NDIS plan, or with your own money. We have lots of experience with SIL and NDIS. Talk to us or your NDIS planner or Local Area Coordinator can help you work out if it is right for you. Things you’ll discuss:

Board and lodging

An NDIS SIL support package does not include rent and boarding costs. You can pay for these costs with your Disability Support Pension, Commonwealth Rent Assistance or other sources of income you may have.
