Individualised living options NDIS

ILO is a flexible NDIS support that lets you live the way you want to.  You decide if you’d like to live on your own, with a housemate, with a host family or with friends then we make it happen. We give you tailored support, so you can live as independently as possible.

ILO is available to NDIS participants and people who are self-funded. It’s for anyone who wants a personalised living arrangement with support tailored to their needs and lifestyle.

To be eligible for support from the NDIS, you must be aged 18+ or 17 and thinking about how you want to live in the future, need support at home for at least 6 hours each day and be ready to explore your home and living needs and goals.

Getting started is simple. Contact Afford to discuss your wants, needs and goals. Together we will design a plan, submit it to the NDIA if needed, and find the right ILO arrangement for you.

We can support you with personal care, household tasks, shopping, cooking, practising daily living skills and helping you live as independently as possible. However you want to live, we will make sure you feel supported.

Yes. ILO puts you in control. You can choose your housemates, the location, and how your ILO works to create a home that fits your goals and lifestyle. Living independently means something different for everyone. When you choose us as your independent living options provider, you tell us what you want and we will make it happen.

Yes. We are a registered NDIS ILO provider. We have been providing people with disability the right individualised living options for their NDIS funding for many years now. We are here to make life easier, and a lot more enjoyable. 

Self-funded when you pay for services with your own money. This gives you the flexibility to access the supports you need, like when you have a one-off request, or if your NDIS funding does not cover what you need. You can also self-fund supports while you wait for a funding package to be approved. Sometimes self-funded is called fee-for-service.

Living independently means something different for everyone. For some people that means a lift to the shops, a social event or a night out with friends in one of our cars. For others it is having a support person close by, day or night, to share the serious stuff and a few laughs together along the way. However you want to live, if you choose us as your ILO provider, we will make sure you feel supported.
