How to pay for in-home support
NDIS funding information
If you have an NDIS plan, there are two types of NDIS funding that you can access to use our in-home support.
- Assistance with social and community participation – part of your core support budget
- Assistance with personal and self-care activities
Self-funded
You do not have to have government-approved funding packages to access our disability supports and services. Self-funded is a way you can pay for services with your own money. Sometimes self-funded is called fee-for-service.
This gives you the flexibility to access the supports you need if you have a one-off request, or if your government funding package does not cover what you need. You can also self-fund supports while you wait for a funding package to be approved.
In-home support is a service where our friendly staff help you with daily tasks so you can live safely and independently in your own home. Support can include personal care, meal preparation, household chores, shopping, and building new skills. It is the same thing as assistance with daily living (ADL).
Our team works with you to provide support in the way that suits you best. Whether you need help occasionally or every day, we adjust the level of support as your skills and confidence grow, helping you become more independent over time.
Yes. You can pay for in-home support directly if you don’t have NDIS funding. If you do have an NDIS plan, our team can help you use the right funding to access support for daily living and personal care activities.
Support can be provided in your own home, in the community, or in a supported independent living (SIL) home. We work with you to support you wherever it suits you, your lifestyle and your needs. Tell us what you want, and we will make it happen.
Getting started is simple. Contact us by phone at 1800 233 673 or fill out our online form, and our friendly team will guide you through your options, discuss your goals, and help you set up the right level of support.
We sure can! We have friendly and experienced support workers in NSW, Vic, Qld and SA. They are just as excited about getting chores done as they are about having fun. And if you want to try something new, we will be right there with you.
