Explore is all about feeling included, connected and supported while doing things that make you happy. Life is better when we explore it together.

How to pay for Explore
NDIS funding information
Explore can be linked to the following support categories in your NDIS plan:
- Assistance with daily life (core)
- Increased social and community participation (capacity building)
- Improved daily living skills (capacity building)
- Improved learning (capacity building)
Self-funded
You do not have to have government-approved funding packages to access our disability supports and services.Self-funded is a way you can pay for services with your own money.
This gives you the flexibility to access the supports you need if you have a one-off request, or if your government funding package does not cover what you need. You can also self-fund supports while you wait for a funding package to be approved. Sometimes self-funded is called fee-for-service.
Explore is a flexible community program that helps you take part in fun activities and events. You can build your own schedule, try new hobbies and enjoy everyday adventures with support from friendly staff.
Explore is more flexible than most day programs. It gives you support so you can choose the activities that matter to you. It can also include evening or weekend activities, not just daytime ones.
Yes. Explore is open to people with disability including NDIS participants and self-funded individuals. It’s designed for all abilities and supports you to build confidence, meet people and have fun.
You can choose from creative, active and social options like art, fitness, cooking, music or community outings as a group. Some explorers join disability social groups in Adelaide to make new friends and share experiences.
Yes. You have full choice over what you do and when you do it. You can change activities, try something new or keep doing your favourites. It’s all about what feels right for you.
Explore can be funded through your NDIS plan or if you don’t have NDIS funding, you can join Explore as a self-funded member. We’ll explain your options and help you get started.
Explore includes a 14-day cooling off period within your service agreement. If you decide the program isn’t right for you within 14 days of starting the program, you can leave with 24 hours’ notice. No commitment, no stress! See your service agreement for more details.
