What is in-home support?
In-home support is help with everyday tasks that make life easier and more enjoyable at home. You can get support with things like cooking, cleaning, personal care and other chores around the house.
With a disability support worker on the Gold Coast, you can learn new skills, keep your home tidy and feel more comfortable every day.
We believe independence looks different for everyone. For some people, it means getting a hand with housework or meals. For others, it means learning how to plan the week, organise shopping or manage personal care on their own.
With self-funded or NDIS support on the Gold Coast, you can enjoy the comfort of home and live more freely with support that fits you.

How to pay for in-home support
NDIS funding information
If you have an NDIS plan, there are two types of NDIS funding that you can access to use our in-home support.
- Assistance with social and community participation – part of your core support budget
- Assistance with personal and self-care activities
Self-funded
You do not have to have government-approved funding packages to access our disability supports and services. Self-funded is a way you can pay for services with your own money. Sometimes self-funded is called fee-for-service.
This gives you the flexibility to access the supports you need if you have a one-off request, or if your government funding package does not cover what you need. You can also self-fund supports while you wait for a funding package to be approved.
In-home support helps you with everyday tasks like cleaning, cooking and personal care. It can also help you learn new skills to live more independently at home. It’s sometimes called assistance with daily living.
Your disability support worker on the Gold Coast will listen to what matters to you. Together, you plan support that fits your goals, comfort and daily routine. If your needs change, we’ll adjust the support anytime.
