What is supported independent living, or SIL?
Supported independent living (SIL) is an NDIS support package that helps people with disability live more independently. You can share a home with others or live on your own with the right level of support around you.
At Afford, we understand that independence means different things for different people. For some people, it might be having help with cooking or cleaning. For others, it means going to the local park with friends or having someone nearby who’s ready to lend a hand when needed.
SIL in Western Sydney includes support for everyday living. This can include personal care, meal preparation and building daily skills. Our friendly team works with you to create a comfortable home that fits your lifestyle. With welcoming housemates and caring support staff, our homes are places where you can relax, connect and enjoy life.
Tell us what you want your home life to look like, and we’ll help make it happen.
