Updated 1:00pm, Monday 10 March

The impact of ex-Cyclone Alfred continues to be felt in Queensland and northern NSW, with the tropical low causing severe wind and heavy rain along the coastline. Emergency flood alerts have been issued, and many areas are experiencing power and network outages.

In severe weather conditions, keeping our clients and employees safe is our top priority. Hereā€™s how Afford is responding and how you can stay informed.Ā

How weā€™re respondingĀ

We have set up our crisis management team and our Queensland coordinator is working closely with all Afford sites in impacted areas. SES emergency contact numbers and response plans have been shared with teams.Ā
