On Sunday 3 December, Afford will unite with world in its celebration of the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). In advance of the day the organisation has special event for clients planned and is supporting its Partner, Heroes With Ability, in advance of their gala day in New South Wales.

IDPwD is a global observance day recognised by the United Nations with the aim of promoting community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability. The 2023 theme for IDPwD is ‘United in action to rescue and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for, with and by persons with disabilities.’

At Afford, our clients are at the heart of everything we do and celebrating the diversity of our clients’ interests, talents, aspirations and joy for life is a part of our IDPwD activity this year – which is why we are holding a special event called Stars Onstage.
