When Jason from Pakenham Supported Accommodation sets his eyes on a new creative challenge, he will always see it through. He pours his patience and passion into every project and has recently wow-ed his team leader by designing and assembling his own scale model houses.

Jason has a great eye for architectural design and building model homes. He hand drew the design for the exterior of the home then used the computer to complete the home’s interior. It is so realistic,” said Team Leader for Pakenham and Cranbourne, Yaya Nure.

The Pakenham team enjoy thinking of new creative ideas for Jason and they know that he likes to share his creations with loved ones.

“He recently finished a Diamond Dots artwork that he had been working on as a gift for his mum. Seeing him put so much time and care into it over the last three days has been amazing,” said Yaya.

Jason was over the moon earlier in the year to assemble a small model car kit complete with a solar panel.

“We are looking forward to getting more DIY assembly kits for Jason as he also really enjoys those. They are a great way to keep his mind active, learn new skills and have fun,” continued Yaya.

These activities have been keeping Jason positive throughout Victoria’s constantly evolving COVID-19 situation. They give him a new challenge to look forward to each day and the satisfaction of a job well done each time a new one is completed.
