Firefighters are on the front line, putting their lives at risk to save others. Emma-Lee is a resident of Afford’s Caboolture Supported Accommodation who truly values this commitment.
Aside from being there to fight fires when needed, Emma-Lee’s local fire brigade also goes out of their way to bring joy to the community. Before Christmas, they travelled around the local area with Santa as a special traveller in their truck. This was much to the delight of many children and families.
Emma-Lee is so grateful of all the hard work and dedication of her local fire brigade. So much so that she wanted to do something special to show her appreciation.
With support from lifestyle assistants at her home, Emma-Lee went out and bought an array of art supplies and materials to create a magnificent artwork.
The artwork Emma-Lee created was sensational. It was full of bright colours and pictures.
Once complete, Emma-Lee delivered her pictures personally to her local fire station.
Everyone at the station was surprised and overwhelmed and thanked Emma-Lee for taking the time to make this special gift.
